Beltane Hill is...

Not just the host to the family-run mail order business, AzureGreen. Beltane Hill is also a place and an idea developed to help build a sense of unity within its parent town of Middlefield Massachusetts.

Middlefield, a small rural town in western Massachusetts, is host to a wide range of personalities, spiritual beliefs, and artistry and Beltane Hill was created to help bring this diversity together in a shared community and give back to the wonderful, supportive people who have been there for us, and AzureGreen.

In our first year, we began holding a daily coffee hour and several potlucks within the lower room of our beautiful greenhouse pyramid. We have also celebrated the 4th of July with a community cookout, attended by Middlefield Residents and friends from neighboring towns, and opened our pond as a swimming hole to those who wish to come enjoy its cool waters.

We have only just begun to explore the possibilities of what we can do, and Beltane Hill has so much more to offer, both to the local community, and to the spiritual community as well. Many of our dreams, like providing a good environment for classes of all sorts, or gallery space for artists, are ready to begin right away, while others, like a community kitchen, or non-profit daycare and afterschool programs, are still going to take a little time and a lot of work! But all good things come with toil and time.
